Brian Murphy was the owner of a 2007 Nissan Frontier dubbed the ‘Million Mile’ Frontier, which he recently traded in for a new 2020 Frontier at M’Lady Nissan in Crystal Lake. The Million Mile Frontier gained its name from Brian’s job, which subsequently ‘helped’ him log over 1 million miles on his 2007 Frontier – with the timing chain being replaced at 700,000 miles for preventative measures and his front seat only being replaced once… at 500,000 miles. If this isn’t a sign of Nissan’s reliability, I don’t know what is.

Brian Murphy’s story was revealed at the Chicago Auto Show when Nissan first introduced it’s new and improved 2020 Nissan Frontier, with upgraded interior, an upgraded engine and more! Murphy said his 2007 Nissan still runs great, but he was ready for some upgrades. If you’re wondering what will happen to Murphy’s 2007 Frontier, so are we. Murphy said his ’07 Frontier is headed back to Smyrna, TN, where it was first assembled, for retirement. The new 2020 Nissan Frontiers are now being produced in Canton, Mississippi.
